Fragile as Paper is a conceptual poster campaign for the Brazilian Institute of the Environment and Renewable Natural Resources (IBAMA). The goal was to raise awareness about the top 5 most endangered tree species in Brazil due to exploitation of their natural habitat or illegal logging.

To capture the current fragile state of these species, their iconic silhouettes were meticulously hand-sketched and cut from recycled colored paper. The vibrant palette, mirroring the diversity of Brazilian tropical forests, vividly contrasts with the gray urban backdrop of large cities where the posters were intended for display.
Following the analog phase, the cut-outs underwent digital scanning and editing before being paired with bold typography to compose the final poster designs.
